From B2B fashion wholesaler to showroom and webshop

In May 2010, Wholesale Solar was founded by Angira. From her 'Passion for Fashion' the concept was born and started. With 3 men strong, they mainly worked very hard at the beginning. They started as wholesalers for the B2B and they were the first in the industry to set up a webshop, in addition to the showroom.

With a super motivated team of now 20 people strong, they moved to a new location from where they show their collection even better and from where they can also serve all re-sellers.

Official re-seller
Angira finds it very important that she can use Solar to help other businesses. By offering dropshipping options, she ensures that her customers don't have to pre-shop themselves or maintain large department stores for their stock. That way, Wholesale Solar's clothing can also be offered through official re-sellers.

Their challenge

Wholesaler Solar was looking for a suitable party to develop a custom re-seller (dropshipping) platform. This platform had to meet the following requirements:

WooCommerce, Shopify and PrestaShop webshop plugin
Re-sellers have their own stock registration
Easily select products from Wholesale Solar

Wholesaler Solar knew that by creating their own re-seller platform, they could better serve their customers (in this case, webshops). However, finding a suitable party that could realize this idea proved to be a challenge. This is how they ended up at Nxtlvl.

From challenge to solution: Developing a vcustom re-seller platform

When a customer (webshop) purchases products from Solar Wholesale, they can choose which items and how many pieces they want to buy. This has advantages for both the purchasing party and for Solar Wholesale, as they can determine in advance how many units of certain items must be purchased/sold.

As soon as an order is placed on the webshop of one of the re-sellers, Wholesale Solar receives a notification containing all the webshop's order details. Wholesale Solar packages the order, labels the item(s) with the webshop's sticker and sends the package to the customer. By operating this way, the webshop does not have to deal with stock and shipping and can serve their customers well.
